The delay has been caused by production problems which have meant the magazine has missed it's allocated printing slot and has nothing to do with the airdate of the new series, which has still not been announced by the BBC.
The next Doctor Who Magazine Special Edition: Sarah Jane Smith - Volume 3, has also been delayed by a week and will now be released on Thursday 16th August.
