MacRae has previously written the successful Series 2 two-parter Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel and last years spectacular The Girl Who Waited.

Series 8: MacRae Confirmed For New Who Story
Tom MacRae has confirmed he is writing another episode for Doctor Who.
However, we will probably be waiting a while to see his new episode as it sounds like it will not make it into the second part of Series 7.
MacRae told OTB he is unsure when it will air: “I don’t know when you’ll see it, but you definitely will.”
